James V. Hughes

James Hughes, Senior Managing Director and head of the Los Angeles office, has nearly 20 years of consulting experience in executive compensation, particularly in the healthcare, transportation, technology and gaming industries. He also advises extensively on IPO compensation issues, as well as proxy disclosure and customized compensation surveys.

Mr. Hughes previously was a Partner in an international accounting and consulting firm, heading its Pacific Regional Compensation Strategy and Equity Incentives Group. He holds a B.S. and an M.A. in Accounting from the University of Georgia and is a Certified Public Accountant.
