Melissa L. Means
Melissa Means is Managing Director in the Boston office, where her areas of expertise include total compensation strategy, executive compensation, short- and long-term incentive compensation strategy and design, market practices benchmarking, and Board of Directors compensation. Ms. Means specializes in working with firms ranging in size from small, private and pre-IPO organizations to large multi-national companies across many different industries such as technology, software, semiconductor, electronic equipment, biotechnology, pharmaceutical, life science instruments, medical device, healthcare, manufacturing, services, food products and financial services.
Prior to joining Pearl Meyer & Partners, Ms. Means was the Director of Compensation and Benefits at a software firm, with responsibility for compensation and benefit program design and implementation, and held executive compensation consulting positions at Mercer and Towers Perrin.
Ms. Means holds a BBA. from Miami University of Ohio. She is a Certified Compensation Professional, Certified Equity Professional, member of WorldatWork, NASPP, Women Corporate Directors, The Boston Club and a Program Committee volunteer for the New England NACD.
