Biography
Gail Wise is a managing director at Pearl Meyer. With 25+ years’ experience across a wide array of sectors, she delivers highly targeted solutions, including executive and organizational diligence, executive team alignment, and leadership development and advisory services.
Prior to joining Pearl Meyer, Gail worked at two consultancies before co-founding Ampersand Leadership Group. Previous to entering consulting, she sat on the “other side of the desk” in field and headquarters-level operations, HR, and training roles in retail food service. She gives that chapter of her career a great deal of the credit for her passion for her work: having lived through the downstream impact – both good and not-so-good – of consultants, she is determined to deliver work that drives real change. And as a relocation aficionado (from a Virginia farm to Mexico City to the “frozen tundra” of Wisconsin, with various US cities in between), she is adept at reading a diverse array of people and situations.
Gail holds a PhD in Applied Psychology and an MS in Psychology from the University of Georgia, an MBA from the University of Louisville, and a BS from Virginia Tech.
