Biography

Jacob Poarch is a vice president at Pearl Meyer. He has more than ten years of experience advising boards of directors and senior management teams on executive compensation, incentive plan design, corporate governance, and performance measurement. Jacob specializes in executive compensation strategy, helping organizations develop resilient pay programs that attract, retain, and motivate executive talent while aligning leadership incentives with shareholder interests.

Jacob has extensive experience advising companies across all stages of growth, from emerging startups to mature public organizations, including companies preparing for and executing initial public offerings (IPOs). He partners with boards and management teams to make informed, data-driven compensation decisions that support business strategy, maintain regulatory compliance, and drive long-term value creation.

Prior to joining Pearl Meyer, Jacob worked as a consultant at Compensia advising clients in the technology and life sciences sectors and at FW Cook advising companies across the energy industry.
