Pearl Meyer Leaders Honored by NACD Directorship 100
Award recognizes directors and corporate governance experts for their influential role and impact on boardroom practices and performance
NEW YORK—Sep. 19, 2017—Pearl Meyer President and CEO David Swinford and Jannice Koors, senior managing director and the firm’s western region president, have been named to the National Association of Corporate Directors’ (NACD) 2017 Directorship 100, an annual list of influential individuals who exemplify excellence in boardroom leadership.
Directorship 100 recipients are evaluated on their demonstrated commitment to promoting high-caliber governance practices, as outlined by NACD’s established principles, including strategic planning, risk oversight, executive compensation, and transparency.
Swinford has received this award for boardroom excellence every year since its inception. He is also currently serving on NACD’s 2017 Blue Ribbon Commission on the board’s role in driving values and culture in an organization, and will be a featured speaker on culture and compensation at the NACD Global Board Leaders’ Summit on October 3, 2017.
This year marks the tenth in a row that Koors has been recognized. She will be leading NACD’s Board Committee Forum for Compensation at the Global Board Leaders’ Summit on October 2, 2017. Koors also directs the research and development of the annual Pearl Meyer/NACD Director Compensation Report.
As one of its longest-tenured Strategic Content Partners, Pearl Meyer works closely with the NACD on numerous research, thought leadership, and educational initiatives designed to guide directors and boards as they navigate increasingly complex corporate governance challenges and seek to maximize their organizations’ long-term value.
