Commitment to Clients

I partner with leaders and investors to build teams that actually work—not just on paper, but in practice. I believe identifying the right talent is far more important than identifying the best talent. The best fit is what creates enduring, high-performing teams. My work is grounded in a deep respect for how people actually function—individually and together—and a commitment to asking the hard questions that uncover what truly drives performance. When leaders and teams are aligned by purpose, capability, and context, the possibilities are infinite and the results are powerful.

Biography

Kimberly Kroll is a Managing Director with Pearl Meyer and brings more than 20 years of professional experience helping leaders and organizations perform at their best. A long-held passion for Formula 1 racing shapes her perspective on teamwork as the ultimate measure of success. In no other sport are roles so deeply specialized – and so critically interdependent. In Formula 1, identifying the wrong talent for the team can be catastrophic; the same principle applies in business.

Kim’s career uniquely combines two decades of running a fourth-generation international business with over a dozen years at Ampersand Leadership Group. This blend of operational and advisory experience has given her a deep understanding of human behavior, motivation, and organizational dynamics to offer clients business-relevant insights and pragmatic, actionable guidance. Her expertise in founder-led and family-run businesses navigating critical phases of growth and transition make her a critical asset to PE investors seeking to objectively assess and best work with the teams they invest in.

Known for her calm demeanor, authentic candor, and deep respect for all stakeholders, the hallmark of Kim’s compassionate and incisive approach is earning the trust to ask the tough questions that reveal the root cause of any human capital challenge and maximize value for the business and its investors. She holds a PsyD in Clinical Psychology from the Illinois School of Professional Psychology and graduated magna cum laude in 2.5 years with a BS in Psychology from the University of Wisconsin–Madison.

At Pearl Meyer, we work with boards and organizations to design and implement compensation and leadership strategies that build great management teams.
